I met the Krusi family at Glennifer Lake in the fall of 2020 for a family session, and almost right away, fell a little in love with this family. So you can imagine how over the moon I was when Kiersten called me this summer, to tell me they were expecting a new baby this winter! We booked their maternity session for the autumn, once again on the lake, which holds many important memories for this family – Stephan proposed to Kiersten here, for one! I love the pieces Kiersten chose from my client closet to show off her bump.

Thinking about booking a maternity session? Sessions usually take place between 28-34 weeks. However, the best time to reach out is at least a few months in advance to guarantee a spot on my calendar! Clients have access to my client closet of maternity gowns, like the ones you see Kiersten using in this session. In fact, all of my current gowns can be seen here: https://www.instagram.com/stories/highlights/17879805911069708/
Older siblings snuggling with their mama’s bump <3 Capturing the excitement of older siblings is a must on my shoot list with family-focused maternity sessions. Can you tell how excited these two are to meet their new baby? And of course, a couple of poses with just Mom & Dad are always in order:

Golden hour on water has to be on my top 10 of places to shoot a session. if you could pick any spot in central Alberta for a session, where would you go? Leave a comment and let me know!
